18/07/1918- Mandela was born at Qunu, near Umata in South Africa.
1944- Mandela helped found the ANC Youth League.
1952- Mandela and Tambo opened first Black Law firm South Africa.
Late 50s - Mandela had to resign from the ANC and work underground.
1962- Mandela had been arrested and sentenceed to life imprisonment in the notorious
Robben Island prison.
1990- Mandela released.
1993- Mandela was awarded the Nobel Peace Price.
1994- Mandela became president of South Africa.
1999- Mandela retired.
2013- Mandela died in 2013
